It's official: Brady's done for '08: The Patriots have confirmed Monday that QB Tom Brady will miss the 2008 season with season-ending knee surgery. "After extensive tests this morning, it was revealed that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's left knee, which was injured in the first quarter of yesterday's game, will require surgery. He will be placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2008 season," the team said in a statement. Brady was hit by Chiefs DB Bernard Pollard and fell to the ground awkwardly. Before the injury, Brady had completed 7-of-11 passes for 76 yards. Matt Cassel will start for the club for the rest of the year. (CBS SPORTS)
When I heard of this great news, I was thrilled! Now I am not saying I am happy that he is hurt, since its always sad when athletes get hurt. BUT!! BUT…..
Now I am hoping they will not make the play offs and then no superbowl this year! They are cheaters, and I hate cheaters! I mean when you are such a great team, have an awesome QB, awesome defense line, why do you need to cheat? Really? Seriously? That’s just the lowest of the low, lower than the plankton in the dark sea!!!
So, I am VERY HAPPY…..
